Pruning Apple Trees 101
A lesson in pruning apple trees here.
There is no way to really teach you to trim apple trees unless you come and visit me and we work together…at least that is how I learn best. However, Josiah and I took some pictures in the hopes of giving you an idea of what to do. This should at least get you started.

Not only apples... All fruits are good to our health. Planting is a very good exercise. So it's a good thing to start planting now and eat your own bountiful harvest.

What you say about visiting to learn is true.
In the Portland area, I tell people that pruning an apple tree successfully, is pretty much more advanced than pruning something like Japanese maple, or roses. Apple tree pruning is like it's own art or science.

Alisha, you are so right there, like the saying goes "an apple a day keeps the Doctor away"
Apples are also good for your teeth.
